Chioggia
Chioggia is a small Adriatic peninsular area,
halfway between Venice and Ferrara. It create with Sottomarina (that is the city direct on the sea) a
unique urban center
thanks to a piece of land that acts as a bridge between the 2 cities, that is named “Isola dell’Unione”.
People know Chioggia also as “Small Venice” because it has urban characteristics very similar with
it
with the difference that is possible to travel by cars.
Famous people have also been hosted in the city, for example Carlo Goldoni, remembered for one
of his most important works “Le Baruffe Chiozzotte”
